An attractive barrel shaped presentation caught my eye.
Premium Panama Rum – Cask Aged.
What’s not to like?
Pours a rich deep brown.
Viscous legs coat the glass.
Sweet golden caramels with a hint of oaky tannins on the aroma.
An easy going demerara style palate greets me with a lovely flourish of lip smacking spice on the finish.
Yo ho ho and a barrel of rum!
Sláinte

Emanates from Old St Andrews Fine Spirits – creators of the Golf Ball Whisky reviewed earlier.
It is an innovative way of putting rum in a cask-shaped barrel. It must be the feeling of taking rum directly from the cask. After five years of maturation, the taste and aroma will be really good. Thank you very much for this information. Keep posting such updates.

Sadly it’s a glass bottle housed inside a plastic barrel – but it does look good & made for an enjoyable tasting.

It certainly sounds lovely! After my experience with Blacks golden rum, I have a lot more interest in rum!
