World Whisky Day is fast approaching on Saturday the 19th May 2018.
As part of the build up I’m featuring a series of blogs – both old and new – over the next month focusing on a country from each letter of the alphabet – if possible – that makes whisky.
Today is O for Oh No Whisky!
I have a system.
It’s based on the Irish Department Of Foreign Affairs And Trade A to Z list of countries here. Well – I do live in Ireland.
There is only one country listed under O – Oman.
I know precious little about Oman.
You can buy alcohol in Oman – but it’s highly controlled.
I would be very surprised if there is any whisky production in Oman – other than bootleg liquor.
