Large French Hypermarket chain Carrefour do – or did – their own label Irish Whiskey by the name of East & Dist.

Like a lot of bottles within this category there’s no actual explanation of how the slightly unusual name came about – nor from where the whiskey is sourced.

East & Dist is presented in a traditional green bottle with a screw cap that declares – Imported From Ireland – to get the point across.
It was available for just shy of €15 in one advert.
