With the popularity of the Original Crabbie’s Ginger Beer I suppose it was inevitable a series of flavoured varieties would be next.

Rejecting the perceived sweetness of Raspberry I though Rhubarb might inject a touch of tartness to the mix – so a bottle was purchased.
Pours a pinkish blush – which might be part of the visual attraction for this brew.
The aroma reminds me of bubblegum – again perhaps reflecting the target market?

Quite a dry palate – yet oddly devoid of any real flavours.
It’s on the rear a spicy prickliness makes it’s presence felt.
Not particularly working for me this concoction. A bit too sweet & almost chemically enhanced yet empty all at the same time – as well as lacking that sour tartness too!
Always happy to explore though!
